We request that holidays are taken during the set school holidays. Please ensure that you read the following documents very carefully and understand the regulations, especially before booking a holiday in term time.
Government regulations state that children will only be granted leave of absence under “exceptional circumstances”. We have to follow the guidance. Applications must be sent to the school office at least 6 weeks prior to the date of absence.
If you still wish to request absence during term time you will need to complete and return a Leave of Absence Request Form, which is the agreed Swaledale Alliance form. The Executive Headteacher will then consider your request and advise you accordingly.
