Our art curriculum is dynamic and creatively rewarding, where children learn through art as well as about art and have access to a varied range of high quality Art and Design experiences. It encourages the creative development of children, with learning built through a weaving and layering and revisiting of experiences. Children have lots of different kinds of opportunities and experiences (media, techniques, approaches, artists), all underpinned by creative use of drawing and sketchbooks.
Our pupils will:
- they are creative decision makers, inspired confident and find value and pleasure in Art and Design
- have an enjoyment and appreciation of the visual Art and Designs and a knowledge of Artists, craftspeople and designers, through links with the local and wider multicultural community.
